I keep hearing the term “Natural probiotic”. What is it?
Our Natural Probiotics contain bacterial microorganisms that aid digestion and normal gastrointestinal function. These bacteria are beneficial to us because they suppress levels of harmful bacteria, support normality to the GI tract, and may positively regulate the digestion process.
What is the benefit of your delayed-release capsule?
Asprega’s unique propriety blend of yeast and bacterial strains are contained in a delayed release capsule (DRC). This capsule is better capable of withstanding the digestive process of gastric acids in the stomach; and allows the natural probiotic to be protected and delivered where it is needed most in the body.†
Why is Asprega in a glass container?
Scimera BioScience has gone to great lengths to ensure a premium product. The glass container provides superior protection of the capsule and reduces the oxidative effect on the probiotic over time. This will ensure you are receiving the highest quality product possible and function to its maximum potential.
How is Asprega different from other probiotics?
In addition to the delayed release capsule and the glass container, Asprega contains a proprietary blend of twelve (12) beneficial yeast and bacterial strains that are normal to the intestinal flora. Scimera BioScience feels that this probiotic, supplied at 20 billion CFU’s (Colony-Forming Units) will provide improved results and complement a daily regimen to ultimately benefit the patients most. What is the difference between SciKrill Oil and fish oil?
Although both krill and fish oil contain EPA and DHA, fish oil omega-3’s largely exist in the form of fatty triglycerides. Natural Krill oil omega-3’s, however, are naturally linked to phospholipids. This provides a more bioavailable method of omega-3 that is more easily absorbed and readily incorporated into body tissues. Additionally, SciKrill Omega-3’s are interlaced with naturally present Astaxanthin – a powerful, biological antioxidant not found commonly in fish oils.†
How is SciKrill different from other products?
Scimera BioScience goes to great lengths to ensure only the highest concentration of omega-3-phospholipids available. Unlike many other brands, we incorporate Li-cap technology to maintain the highest potency and retain maximal antioxidant benefit†.
What are the benefits of SciKrill?
SciKrill omega-3 phospholipids may support, promote and maintain cardiovascular, joint and cartilage health, cognitive function, lipid health, and women’s health, while supporting inflammation balance and promoting antioxidant protection.†
What is ubiquinol?
Ubiquinol is the reduced, active antioxidant form of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). Produced naturally within healthy bodies, ubiquinol is CoQ10 that has been converted (“reduced”) for use in the cellular energy production process. In addition to its critical role in energy production, it is the strongest lipid-soluble antioxidant available, protecting the body’s cells from oxidative stress which can cause damage to proteins, lipids and DNA.
What is the difference between ubiquinone and ubiquinol?
Ubiquinone and ubiquinol are both forms of CoQ10, and both are necessary to produce cellular energy. Ubiquinone is the oxidized form of CoQ10 that consumers are most familiar with; it has been taken as a supplement and studied for more than 30 years. Over the past three decades, CoQ10 has been recognized for its benefits to general health and wellness as well as cardiovascular and neurological health. In order to generate cellular energy, the body must convert ubiquinone into ubiquinol. Without this conversion, the body’s energy production process cannot be completed and energy levels cannot be sustained. Thus, both are critical to sustaining your body’s natural energy.
Can I get ubiquinol from the foods I eat?
You can get ubiquinol as well as ubiquinone in small amounts from your diet; however, you would have to eat the foods in such large amounts as to make them a resource for your CoQ10 supplementation needs. And because the body’s ability to convert ubiquinone to ubiquinol declines with age, food becomes a less practical source of ubiquinol for older individuals and those suffering from age-related conditions. For individuals who are 40+, ubiquinol is likely more beneficial since the body’s ability to produce CoQ10 and convert it into ubiquinol is diminished.
What are the health benefits associated with ubiquinol?
For those individuals who cannot efficiently convert CoQ10 to ubiquinol, KanekaQH™ will support healthy levels of CoQ10 in plasma and organs for more efficient energy production. This should result in more energy and stamina as well as better overall health. Additionally, because ubiquinol is an extremely powerful antioxidant, it offers a strong protective defense against oxidative stress and age-related conditions.
What is Prexator?
The scientific evidence establishes that including plant sterol/stanol esters in the diet helps to lower blood total and LDL cholesterol levels (sec. 101.83 Health claims: plant sterol/stanol esters and risk of coronary heart disease (CHD)). Prexator also contains vitamins, potent antioxidants, and Coenzyme Q10. Unlike statins, Prexator is not associated with joint or muscle pain.
What are phytosterols?
Phytosterols are natural, plant based, cholesterol-like molecules. Phytosterols are biochemically similar to animal based cholesterol and effectively block cholesterol absorption in the small intestine. As a result, the body uptakes less cholesterol.
Why is cholesterol bad for me?
Cholesterol is chiefly synthesized by the liver and is essential to healthy function. High levels of cholesterol, however, are strongly correlated with decreased
What is Vyzetra?
Vyzetra is a multivitamin/multimineral complex containing a vast array of registered trademark ingredients that support a healthy lifestyle. It was developed in response to specific patient needs such as: to support protein metabolism, brain function, healthy blood sugar levels, eye health, increased energy, metabolism, memory, and healthy joint function.†
Why is Vyzetra one capsule twice a day?
Scimera BioScience has determined that the Vyzetra multivitamin/multimineral complex best delivers its ingredients in a twice-a-day formulation. The benefit is more consistent supplement levels and increased supplement amounts.
I haven’t heard of Zeaxanthin, Lutein and Lycopene. What are those?
Scimera has included these ingredients because of their potent antioxidant properties. Lutein and Lycopene are noteworthy for their free radical scavenging capabilities. Zeaxanthin is the most highly potent antioxidant, carotenoid intended to promote retinal health.
What is Zoflexa?
Zoflexa is an optimal joint wellness formulation that promotes joint health and mobility, supports a natural anti-inflammatory response and provides potent antioxidant protection.

This helps the body maintain the strength and elasticity of joint structures and connective tissue. Meriva® features a natural curcumin-physotome complex which results in dramatically increased bioavailability and promotes antioxidant protection. WOKVEL® is a standardized extract of bosswellic acids that synergistically complements Meriva® and Paractin® to promote antioxidant support†.
